When I first met Mr. Sawada from Grippers in Namerikawa, his passion for "bensan" (vinyl sandals) was so infectious that I decided I wanted to carry them at 85-Store. I asked Mr. Sawada to place a special order for us, and these are the resulting Sabot Bensan.

When you actually wear them, you’ll find they have great grip, and the thick soles make them easy to walk in and prevent fatigue. Although the two of us at 85-Store had never worn bensan before, they have now become our favorite everyday footwear.

They go great with vintage clothing, and we especially recommend pairing them with wide-leg pants.
