While the inline RIDGEWAY - Tee features a standard fit, the KIRISHIMA is designed with a shorter length and a wider silhouette.
The sleeves are also roomily sized to reach the elbows, and we made repeated fine-tuned adjustments to ensure the hem doesn't ride up when you raise your arms.
This project started with the idea of, "Let's create another version with a silhouette that matches our current mood."
It has turned into the perfect piece for summer.
The material is made from 100% American Sea Island Cotton, an extra-long staple cotton that inherits the DNA of the world's finest fabric, once loved by the British Royal Family. It features a cashmere-like texture and silk-like luster, offering an addictive, light, and airy comfort.
The hem is finished with a "blind stitch" technique often found in vintage clothing from the 90s and earlier.
Beyond its classic look, this sewing method is designed to withstand tension along the seams, preventing thread breakage and fraying caused by strong pulling when putting on or taking off the garment.

Designed to be slightly oversized to account for fit after washing. After about 10 washes, the fabric will tighten while maintaining its softness, shrinking approximately 4cm in length and 1cm in width.
